Nationalism and the creation of italy

Nationalism is the belief that someone should not show their loyalty to a king or empire but to your own nation that has same common culture and common history as well. I am nationalistic by being a good citizen in society and by respecting the laws of this country and celebrating all of this country's holiday such as fourth of July , presidents day and etc. I usually tell may dad to take me to parades to celebrate America and i usually tell him that when ever we see in the news that there are people who needs clothes and food, we will go to the store buy some and give it to those people or give it to charity. Nationalism to me means that you need to serve your country and respect it and do no harm and take care of it and its people. Nationalism includes alot of things such as nationality, language, culture, history, religion, and territory.
Nationalism changed Italy alot because it used to be ruled by kings but when nationalism came, these territories started seperating and started to form into nation. Italy before used to be seperate empires and had kings. There was alot of differences in these empires that nationalism had broken these empires and created seperate nations. Italy was one in particular that was formed as a nation. The person who started uniting all of italy was Camillo di Covour. Covour found help from Napolean 111 and an ally who were the french. But one of the bad parts about this unification was that there were alot of problems such as language, religion and much more

Simon Bolivar and Latin American Revolution

Simon bolivar is known as the liberator because he has organized a military force to fight against the spanish rule on the northern part of south america. His main concern was on venezuela, ecuador, peru, colombia, bolivia for their independence. The reason why Simon Bolivar got a country after him was because one day in 1823, bolivar and sucre planned an attack to the spanish army. A year later on Auguste 6 1824, they both defeated the spanish army in the battle of Junin. On August 6, 1825, Sucre called the Congress of Upper Peru which created the Republic of Bolivia in honor of Bolívar. Simon bolivar is a very big hero for the south american countries becuase he has gave them their independence and created the LATIN AMERICAN REVOLUTION.
